Dr Kashif Sarwar is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical expertise. He graduated with Honours from the University of Sheffield Medical School in 2005 and went on to complete specialist training in General Practice.
Currently, Dr Sarwar serves as the Senior Partner at a busy NHS GP practice in Leeds and is also the Clinical Director of a Primary Care Network, where he leads the integration and delivery of healthcare services across the region.
Dr Sarwar takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care, focusing on both physical and mental wellbeing. He places a strong emphasis on preventative care and long-term health management.
He has a particular interest in musculoskeletal health, offering joint assessments and therapeutic injections—including steroid and Hyaluronic Acid treatments—to relieve pain and improve mobility.
Dr Sarwar is also one of the relatively few GPs in the UK to hold SCOPE certification – an internationally recognised qualification in obesity management from the World Obesity Federation. He is committed to providing compassionate, stigma-free support for individuals with obesity, offering tailored treatment plans and lifestyle guidance.
